Teaching the Educated
The Center for Health Affairs, Greater Cleveland Hospital Association presented Susan Kimberly Turben, Ph.D. the Edward F. Meyers Outstanding Trustee Award during the association's 72nd annual meeting Thursday, May 26.
Turben is one of ten trustees of local organizations selected by an independent committee of civic, business and community leaders. Each recipient has made an outstanding contribution to a health care institution in meeting the health needs of the community.
Turben was elected to society's Board of Trustees in 1979. At that time, Children's Services provided family counseling and recreational programming primarily for school aged children. Today, Children's Services not only has a firmly-established Early Childhood Intervention program, but its present educational/consultant-based model is nationally recognized.
The Society congratulates Sue Turben, for being selected as one of ten 1988 recipients of the Edward F. Meyers Outstanding Trustee Award.
