3. Learn to draw the portrait using various approaches, contour, line and value drawing, color if time permits

ART CLUB OBJECTIVES
The student will become more familiar wit one or two particular forms of art

Drawing - watercolor, tempra, and/or acrylic

Painting - pencil, ink and/or charcoal, colored pencil

Because the approach is always the same and basic rules and theories apply to all forms, previously learned rules and theories will be put into practice and reinforced.
New methods and approaches will be encouraged.
Creativity will be an important part.
Research as to technique of artists shown and demonstrated.
