The special relationship between the young and old fosters mentoring and learning that greatly impacts the lives of both generations! Dr. Susan Turben hosts “Friends” of the Family from Jennings Center for Older Adults, Allison Salopeck, Chief Operating Officer and Administrator and Rachiel Agay Director of The Learning Circle. The Learning Circle is an enriching infant and child care program with a combination of classroom structure and free play, which creates a positive environment for learning as well as child development and growth. The most unique aspect of The Learning Circle is its location on the campus of the Jennings Center for Older Adults! Pre-schoolers through teens learn respect for people around them. Adolescents and teens learn about careers and volunteerism. All participants learn about the value of diversity! The most valuable life experiences may come from your own family members!
