  • Teachers, families and children are entitled to hold their own views.  They communicate with non-critical, non-threatening, conversational, non-confrontational words.
  • Example of conversational tone of voice:  “Share with me your daily routine and schedule”… Example of critical tone: “You should have had this done years ago.”
  • Parents, teachers, children  each assumes responsibilities.

  Example: “Your know your child best.  What do you think?  I have some ideas….”   What math games will help me?
